• Must be available for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• BST or GSO license.
• Serving It Right Certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming license.
• Ability to exceed customer expectations through service oriented communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the security operation.
• Mentoring, coaching, and training front line security team members.
• Monitoring, documenting and preparing statements/reports on violations, unsafe conditions, hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Enrolling guests in the self-exclusion program.
• Conducting regular patrols of the property.
• Identifying risks and safety concerns.
• Providing or assisting with First Aid for team members and guests.
• Responding to and resolving or escalating security concerns.
• Escorting guests and team members or assigning escort duties as required.
• Overseeing crowd control for special events.
• Liaising with operational departments and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• Must hold active Security Officer position at Chances Maple Ridge
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
