Job summary

BrightPath Kanata Centre in Ottawa seeks an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant for casual supply roles. You will support teachers, engage children, and help maintain a safe, enriching learning environment for the children in our care.

Responsibilities include assisting with in-class instruction, fostering child involvement, and collaborating with families and staff. This role offers opportunities for development and a stable, supportive workplace in the Busy Bees family.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification or Registered Early Childhood Educator
• Must meet province requirement for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements
• Experience in planning and implementing programs

• Interacting with children to encourage involvement in activities

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:
