BrightPath Kids Inc. is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to join our Oakville centre. You will support RECEs in the classroom, help protect children's well-being and engage them in activities to foster learning and development.

As part of a busy team, you will collaborate with staff and families, attend meetings as needed, and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized learning environment. Evening and weekend shifts are not required.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required.
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment per health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Responsabilités

• Assist RECEs with instruction in the classroom.
• Support a safe and well-being focused environment for children.
• Engage children to participate in activities.
• Build collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting RECE’s with instruction in the classroom.

• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.

Requirements:
