Job summary

The McMurray Group, owner of A&W Restaurants in Western Canada, is hiring a Cashier for our Sherwood Park location. This permanent role offers the chance to work up to 40 hours weekly, including graveyard shifts, with English as the primary language.

You’ll greet guests, take orders, process payments, and support food service in a fast-paced, guest‑focused environment. We value reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to grow with the team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
