Job summary

A&W Restaurants in Cap Corner, AB is seeking a friendly Cashier to take orders, handle payments, and provide a fast, welcoming guest experience. This role fits around school, sports, or other commitments and offers opportunities for growth.

You will work with a team in a permanent full-time or part-time capacity, with graveyard shifts and up to 40 hours per week, and English language requirements. Training, benefits, and discounts are available.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
