Job summary

A&W Restaurants in Edmonton is seeking a friendly Cashier to warmly greet guests, take orders, and process payments at the register. The role offers a schedule that fits around school, sports, or other commitments and includes opportunities to learn through training and skill development.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
