Job summary

The McMurray Group owns and operates A&W Restaurants, and is seeking a Cashier in Victoria BC at Shelbourne Plaza. This permanent role offers flexible hours, training, and opportunities for growth.

As the friendly face of the store, you will take orders, handle payments, and ensure guests have a fast, welcoming experience. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Shifts: Graveyard (Overnight)

Hours Per Week: Up to 40

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
