Job summary

The McMurray Group owns and operates A&W Restaurants across Western Canada, and is seeking a Cashier in Victoria, BC. You will be the friendly face guests meet first, take orders, and process payments to deliver a fast, welcoming experience using our POS system.

Shifts include Graveyard (overnight) with up to 40 hours per week. We offer wage growth through training, flexible schedules, paid training, employee discounts, and medical/dental benefits for eligible team members.

Job Type: Permanent Full-time and Permanent Part-time

Shifts: Graveyard (Overnight)

Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system


• Greet guests and answer menu questions


• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks


• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations


• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready


• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience


• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment


• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
