COMPASS is currently recruiting a part-time, contract (6 months) Case Worker. It is an integrated research/clinical service that provides medical treatment for addiction, including medical and non-medical treatment for opioid dependence, alcohol issues, outpatient withdrawal management (day detox), and treatment for clients with chronic pain.
The Case Worker will support the development and expansion of resources in our Resource Room, a drop-in space for clients. Responsibilities include providing client-centered psychosocial support, helping clients access social determinants of health, motivating clients for further treatment, and assisting with basic necessities and income support. The role involves liaising with CAMH services and community agencies to coordinate care, advocating for clients’ access to resources, and contributing to treatment plan development. The position operates within a harm reduction framework, including facilitating access to harm reduction supplies. Some evening/weekend hours may be required. The role is based at 100 Stokes Street.
