Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Case Coordinator for Medical Assessments – Viewpoint in Barrie, Ontario. This full-time, in-person role reviews referrals for medical evaluation, coordinates assessor schedules, and ensures service levels are met.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals to determine eligibility for medical evaluation.
• Screen for conflicts of interest and advise appropriate parties.
• Schedule services with our roster of medical and paramedical assessors.
• Coordinate secondary providers (e.g., transportation, interpretation) when needed.
• Create notifications aligned with SLAs and provide directives to assessors.
• Maintain data accuracy and complete data entry.

Case Coordinator, Medical Assessments - Viewpoint

Status: Full Time -Permanent (in-person)

Location: 115 Bell Farm Road, Barrie, ON, L4M 5G1

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for reviewing the specifics of potential referrals to ensure we can accept them for medical evaluation
• Screening for conflict of interest and advising the appropriate parties when this arises
• Scheduling the service(s) with our roster of medical and paramedical assessors
• Booking secondary service providers when necessary (e.g. transportation, interpretation).
• Creating notifications consistent with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Producing the relevant directives for the assessor(s)
• Data entry and data accuracy
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Require familiarity of the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS).
• Clinical background (preferably a registered health professional)
• Strong attention to detail and firm grasp of systems
• Mature and strong work ethic
• Computer efficiency (MS Office, Outlook, Internet, Adobe Acrobat)
• Competent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills
• French-English bilingualism is mandatory
