Job summary

Lifemark Health Group seeks a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the OWN program. This remote role is based in Ontario with possible GTA meetups monthly or quarterly. You will facilitate exceptional written communication to customers and support best practices with clinical staff.

You will leverage your healthcare background to guide clinical staff and ensure high-quality service delivery, with professional, well-documented treatment supported by clinical findings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the physical rehabilitation industry.
• University degree in a relevant healthcare domain (e.g. Kinesiology, Exercise Therapy).
• Clinical/rehabilitation experience with FCEs, Ergonomic Assessments, JSAs considered an asset.
• Basic working knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. WSIB).
• Solid working knowledge of MS Word and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Timely review of clinical reports for quality, continuity and outcome.
• Ensure reports comply with legislative requirements and customer standards.
• Liaise with clinicians across the province to discuss reports and provide guidance.
• Timely completion of administrative tasks in web-based systems for tracking and submission of quality reporting.
• Communicate with customers and admin teams on triage and referrals as applicable.
• Assist clinical staff with recommendations and use of templates/standard formats.
• Maintain accurate records using web-based tracking systems.

Lifemark Health Group is looking for a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our OWN program!

Are you a healthcare professional looking for a change? Lifemark Health Group is seeking a healthcare professional to work as a Quality Assurance Coordinator.

This is a remote position with potential for in-person meetings (within the GTA) on a monthly or quarterly basis.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for facilitating exceptional written communication to our customers and supporting best practices with clinical staff.

To excel in this role, you rely on your healthcare background to offer guidance to clinical staff. You have a passion for supporting the delivery of high-quality services, accomplished through ensuring all written communication to customers reflects a professional, well-documented treatment outlined, supported by clinical findings.

You are highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, analytical in your thinking, and possess exceptional problem-solving skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills are required, framed with a solid knowledge and appreciation for the requirements of third-party funders.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Timely review of clinical reports and forms for quality, continuity, consistency and clinical outcome
• Ensuring reports are consistent with legislative requirements and customer standards
• Liaise with clinicians across the province to discuss reports and provide guidance and feedback as required
• Timely completion of administrative tasks within web-based systems to allow for tracking and ultimately submission of quality reporting
• Communicate with customers and administrative teams on clinical triage and consultations for referrals, as applicable
• Assist clinical staff on formulation of recommendations, utilization of report templates/ standardized formats
• Maintain accurate records utilizing web-based tracking systems to monitor timelines, due dates and reporting expectations

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience in the physical rehabilitation industry,
• University degree in a relevant healthcare domain (i.e. Kinesiology, Exercise Therapy)
• Clinical/rehabilitation experience conducting FCEs, Ergonomic Assessments, JSAs and clinical evaluations considered an asset
• Basic working knowledge of relevant legislation as it relates to key customers (e.g. knowledge of the WSIB etc.)
• Solid working knowledge of MS Word and the ability to learn and navigate new systems
