Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is recruiting Carpenters to join our collaborative team on construction projects. You will contribute to formwork, reading drawings, and ensuring quality finishes while maintaining safety standards on site.

Qualified candidates should have concrete carpentry experience, a valid driver's license, and availability for a 14/7 rotation. Drug and alcohol pre-screening may be required as part of the hiring process.

As our Carpenter, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.

Position Overview:

• Proficient knowledge of concrete formwork and falsework, reinforcing, placing, and finishing.
• Read and understand construction drawings and be able to build to drawings and specifications.
• Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools .
• Supervise labourers and resources as required.

Qualifications Needed:

• Appropriate level of carpentry experience or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be able to work a 14/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required.
