Job summary

Capilano University in North Vancouver is seeking a student CapURec Ambassador to assist in developing and promoting CapUrec activities that engage the Cap U community. The Campus Recreation Programmer will provide professional development and support to position.

You will design posters and digital content, connect with campus groups, and help run social media and promotional campaigns under the guidance of the Athletics and Recreation team.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Capilano University student in good academic standing
• Domestic students must enroll in 2+ courses (6+ credits) during the work term
• International students must have a valid Study Permit and meet credit requirements during fall/winter terms

Responsibilities

• Develop program promotional materials and connect with Capilano University’s community to promote CapUrec activities.
• Develop and implement CapUrec activities designed to promote ongoing CapUrec programs.
• Liaise with the community surrounding Capilano University.
• Represent the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
• Design posters, flyers, brochures, advertisements, social media content and manage digital assets.
• Assist in maintaining CapUrec photo library and related media.
