Job summary

Canna Cabana in Ottawa is seeking Part-Time Sales Associates who are knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, and mature individuals to join our team. You will help customers, maintain stock, and support store operations to maximize sales and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Applicants should have Cannabis Retail Certification (CannSell), be able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and possess strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• Cannabis Retail Certification (CannSell) required.
• Clean Criminal Background Check required prior to start date.
• 2–3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service.
• First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories.
• Must be available for shift work Monday to Sunday.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player mentality.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical problems.
• Attention to detail.
• Desire to educate customers about cannabis without giving medical advice.
• Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends and multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss merchandise needs.
• Maintain product knowledge and drive sales.
• Replace stock and manage inventory levels.
• Assist merchandising and promotions for accessories.
• Ensure store conditions meet established standards.
• Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively.
• Handle transactions accurately and securely.
• Answer calls and transfer to the Store Manager.
• Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations.
