Job summary

High Tide Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Canna Cabana location in Chestermere, Alberta. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, staff scheduling, performance reviews, and health & safety compliance to meet business goals.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, a valid SellSafe certification, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to work all shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have SellSafe Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in retail.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in retail.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Strong service orientation.
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
• Ability to monitor staff performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and facilitating daily store operations.
• Oversee Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Contribute to interviews, promotions, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when requested.
• Guide and direct store associates as needed.
• Maintain adherence to company standards and policies.
