Job summary

Walmart Canada in Kingston, ON is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program, helping maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will follow food safety standards, assist with equipment inspections, and perform floor care across all non-sales areas, while supporting a cooperative team and adhering to company policies.

The role starts at the minimum hourly rate of CAD 18.05 and requires individuals 18 years or older.

• Communicates with the Stocking Coach and cooperates with associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assists in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and following all company policies.
• Cleans floors using a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.
