Job summary

Walmart Canada in Oakville, ON is hiring for a maintenance cleaning role within our store operations. You will participate in a structured cleaning program to keep the environment clean and safe for customers and associates.

The position emphasizes adherence to Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines, timely cleaning of Fresh Departments, and inspections of equipment and supplies to ensure proper operation. It’s a hands-on, in-store role.

• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing in-store certification programs.
• Cleans floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales floor areas.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
