Job summary

Walmart Canada in Sept-Iles, QC is seeking a General Merchandise and Fashion Associate leadership support to drive customer service excellence and department operations. You will partner with the GM/Fashion Assistant Manager and Store Management to ensure task completion, merchandising standards, and a safe store environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, promoting products/services, locating merchandise and helping customers make purchases.
• Assist in directing and coordinating task completion as per priorities from the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and Store Management Team.
• Assess overall presentation of General Merchandise and Fashion Departments; note deficiencies and implement merchandising display changes.
• Delegate, assist and follow up on daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
• Support with scheduling as needed.
• Assign Associates to cover shifts and availability tasks across the store.
• Participate in training and development of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates and provide feedback.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by adhering to policy, completing safety logs, and ensuring displays/fixtures are secure.
