Job summary

Walmart Canada in Quebec is seeking a General Merchandise and Fashion Associate leader to support department processes and customer service excellence. You will partner with the GM and Fashion Assistant Manager to ensure both customer satisfaction and task completion.

Responsibilities include merchandising, scheduling support, staff delegation, and staff training to uphold a safe and inviting store environment. Minimum age to apply is 16, with accommodations available as required by law.

Position Summary...

To assist in the leadership of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates and department processes through partnership with the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service and while ensuring task completion.

What You’ll Do...

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Fashion Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
• Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
• Support with scheduling as needed.
• Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Participates in the training and development of the General Merchandise and Fashion Associates , and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
