Job summary

Walmart Canada in Mississauga is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist leadership in the Digital department, respond to inquiries, and mentor associates. You will help plan department activities, assist on the sales floor, and ensure high standards of service and task completion.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting products, coordinating tasks, and supporting hiring and growth conversations with the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Offer training opportunities and provide feedback to associates.
• Support safety and cleanliness, follow policies, and complete logs.
• Support recruitment and hiring activities and partner with leadership for growth conversations.

Position Summary...

Assists in the leadership of the Digital department processes, responds to problems and inquiries and develops associates through teaching and training. Ensures a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.

Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What You'll Do...

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Digital Fulfillment Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily picking and dispensing tasks.
• Assesses the overall presentation of Departments and instock, noting deficiencies for corrective action.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates, validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.20.
