Overview

Walmart Canada Les Laurentides Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada

Position: Consumables Associate. This role focuses on customer service and assisting with stocking and merchandise flow from backroom to sales floor in a fast-paced retail environment. The position supports a team in creating a safe, clean, and organized shopping experience.

What You\'ll Do

• Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assist customers by promoting products / services, locating merchandise and helping them make purchase decisions.
• Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
• Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies.
• Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
• Stock merchandise / picks, downstock when applicable, apply product protection when required, and set / Complete modulars including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
