Job summary

Seneca Student Federation (SSF) is seeking a part-time Kitchen Service Staff to support daily food service operations. The role focuses on food preparation, sanitation, customer service, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced campus kitchen environment.

As part of a collaborative team, you will ensure safe handling of food, accurate order processing, and adherence to health regulations while delivering welcoming service to students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at Seneca Polytechnic.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Food Handler Certification (asset).
• WHMIS training (asset).

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, washing, cutting, and packaging as per recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to students and staff.
• Support with stocking, inventory, and receiving deliveries.
• Follow health, safety, and public health procedures.
