Job summary

Colonial Group's Gallery Lounge & Patio is seeking a Kitchen Helper to support our Food & Beverage operation. This entry-level, temporary role focuses on ingredient prep, cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced kitchen.

You’ll follow the Sous Chef's direction, learn basic knife skills, and contribute to team success. Shifts Monday to Friday with split day/evening blocks; occasional weekends and holidays may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in professional food preparation/assembly is an asset.
• Basic knife skills are required.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships within a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and direct kitchen helpers as needed.
• Prepare ingredients to meet function specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work with the food and beverage team to support operations.
