The CAD Technician will work with a team of designers, engineers and project managers utilizing AutoCAD and related products to produce complete drawing deliverables.

Essential Functions :

• Develop reinforced concrete drawings based on design provided by engineers.
• Develop mechanical drawings based on contractual requirement.
• Develop annotative details and sections.
• Develop shop drawings (steel plate and piping).
• Coordinate with engineers, shop and construction operations to meet fabrication and constructability requirements.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of 6 months of drafting experience
• Disciplined in Architectural / Civil / Mechanical Technology or Technician
• Proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD
• Experienced with structural steel, reinforced concrete, steel plate and mechanical design
• Understanding of engineering principles, assembly, fabrication, and construction
• Knowledge of engineering workflow process and industry standards
• Ability to work in teams on completion of deliverables with challenging schedules
