Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Structural Technician to bring their expertise to our team, embodying our core values. Your role will be pivotal in a team where every member's contribution drives us forward and leads to our collective success.

Responsibilities

  1. Manufacture, modify, or repair sheet metal structures using all types of sheet metal fabricating equipment. Assist in modifications and repairs, develop parts of irregular shape and curvature, and tooling.
  2. Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and subassemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components for assigned projects and stations.
  3. Utilize technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
  4. Use templates and position components from PVA, engineering drawings, or other materials provided by the Methods Department.
  5. Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files.
  6. Adapt work to various types of assembly, including large and small components.
  7. Operate manual or automated machines and tools according to the work requirements.
  8. Assemble metal and/or composite parts following technical specifications:
  9. Install fasteners, drill holes, and ensure correct products are used for assembly (bolts, rivets, screws, accessories).
  10. Use appropriate sealants, bonding agents, and corrosion protection products.
  11. Ensure assemblies conform to manufacturing files.
  12. Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and compliance with technical standards.
  13. Adhere to quality standards and production rates.
  14. Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
  15. Report discrepancies or irregularities.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as an assembler in aeronautics.
  2. Experience in MRO repair and modification.
  3. Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  4. Excellent ability to read drawings.
  5. Dexterity and manual skills.
  6. Quick learner with strong attention to detail.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial roles preferred.
