Job summary
R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited is seeking an Intermediate CAD / Revit and Civil 3D Designer to support land development, water/wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
You will develop detailed drawings, coordinate with engineers and managers, and own drawing packages from preliminary design through construction. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring drawings meet standards and timelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in civil/environmental/construction management or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering design and drafting experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with Revit is an asset.
- Ability to interpret designs and produce detailed drawing packages.
- Experience with water/wastewater drawings is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed drawings for land development, water/wastewater, and municipal infrastructure.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and contractors.
- Review drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and support design calculations.
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers.
