Job summary

Stantec Winnipeg is seeking a Mechanical CAD/BIM Technician to support our Water group. You will prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects across North America, with emphasis on water facilities.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements and opportunities to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on piping models, P&ID development, and BIM workflows throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and collaboration on multi-discipline projects.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Able to consistently produce high quality 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Proficient with Autodesk: Revit, AutoCAD, P&ID and Plant 3D.
• Experience with ACC/BIM 360 is an asset.
• Experience in water/wastewater projects is an asset.
• Security clearances are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings with Revit for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Ensure Revit, CAD standards, QA/QC procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.
• Coordinate project drawings with managers and technical staff.
• Prepare presentation graphics and report figures.
• Develop 2D/3D piping plans from P&IDs.
• Create 3D models of equipment and piping systems.
• Complete model reviews and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Meet project needs in a timely manner.
