R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited in Ontario invites applicants to join our Municipal Infrastructure and Roads team in Orangeville/Collingwood.

You will produce detailed AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings for municipal infrastructure projects, build 3D corridor models, and support roadway and underground pipe design to regulatory standards. Candidates should have a Civil Technology or CAD diploma, at least 3 years of municipal design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft 365, strong

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Technology or Computer Drafting (AutoCAD/Civil 3D) or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant municipal infrastructure design experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong design skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and PDF editing tools.
Effective communication and collaborative mindset.
Valid Class G driver’s license and reliable vehicle access.

Responsibilities

Producing detailed design drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D for municipal infrastructure and roads.
Building and refining complex 3D corridor models.
Designing roadway and underground pipe networks to meet standards.
Assisting with design calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
Preparing municipal provisions, schedules of items, and tender documents.
Supporting contract admins and inspectors during construction.
Performing other duties as assigned.
