Placements24 seeks a dedicated Buyer specializing in Raw Materials to ensure a cost-effective and reliable supply for manufacturing in Kimberley, Canada. You will source, negotiate and manage supplier relationships to meet production schedules while optimizing quality and delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate will have proven raw materials purchasing experience, strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of supply chain principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Buyer focusing on raw materials or manufacturing components.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and negotiation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Source, procure and manage the supply of raw materials per quality specs and production needs.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor market trends and commodity prices to optimize purchasing strategies.

You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers of raw materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery to meet production schedules. Key Responsibilities
