About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturing firm, is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Logistics and Supply Chain to lead their operations based in Kimberley , Northern Cape. This senior-level position is crucial for optimizing the flow of goods, managing inventory effectively, and ensuring the seamless operation of the entire supply chain network. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics management, procurement, and strategic supply chain planning, with a proven ability to drive efficiency and cost savings. This role offers the opportunity to build and shape a critical function within a growing organization in the heart of the Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Implement and refine inventory control systems to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.

Requirements
