About the Role

Our client, a prominent manufacturing group with operations spanning across various sectors, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead their integrated supply chain operations in the **Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA** region. This executive position is responsible for the end-to-end management of procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution functions, with a strong focus on driving efficiency, cost optimization, and enhancing overall supply chain resilience. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in strategic supply chain planning, supplier relationship management, and implementing advanced supply chain technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a director-level role.
• Proven track record of successfully transforming and optimizing complex supply chains.
• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and emerging trends.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and drive cost savings.
