Supply Chain Full Time Coquitlam, BC $60,000 - $80,000 CAD per year

Job Location: In-person at #102 - 7 Burbidge St, Coquitlam, BC

The Opportunity

As a Buyer/Planner at Moment Energy, you will be responsible for daily purchasing, managing inventory levels, and coordinating BOM requirements to support production schedules. Your role involves working closely with our Supply Chain Manager and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and production to ensure the supply of materials that meet cost, quality, and delivery standards.

The Role

  • Salary: $60,000- $80,000 CAD per year
  • 3 weeks paid vacation + 1 week paid Christmas and New Year's holiday

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Execute purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines
  • Purchase BOM items and R&D components
  • Sourcing, evaluating, and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Support inventory management and reporting
  • Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives
  • Monitor market trends and report findings
  • Analyze forecasts and demand
  • Resolve order fulfillment issues
  • Mitigate supply chain risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
  • Understand material specifications and production schedules

The Candidate

We’re seeking individuals with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in buying and planning, preferably in automotive, electronics, or energy storage
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and purchasing
  • Analytical skills for market trends, supplier performance, and risk assessment
  • Data interpretation and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in cleantech or renewable energy (preferred)
