NIYA FREIGHT & LOGISTICS seeks an IT Operations Supervisor to manage project assignments and oversee daily IT operations. The role requires coordinating system design and deployments, and ensuring compliance with software and hardware requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of IT project experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train staff while meeting client timelines and budgets. Hybrid work arrangement applies in BC, Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
• Hybrid work: in-person and remote work required.

Responsibilities

• Assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and other computer technicians.
• Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
• Direct and control daily operations.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements.
• Supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel.
• Supervise staff.
• Train staff.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems.
• Authorize the development of specifications for products or services.
• Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
