Are you an organized, compassionate leader who thrives in a people-first environment? The Oaks Retirement Village is looking for a Business Services Manager to join our management team and help support the smooth operation of our warm, welcoming retirement community.
About the Role
As Business Services Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day office operations while supporting both residents and our dedicated service team members. From financial administration to employee services, your leadership will help drive a high standard of care, professionalism, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors
Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with billing inquiries
Supervise reception and concierge team members
Coordinate resident files, move-ins/outs, and service package updates
Support team leaders and the General Manager with operational and HR functions
Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and collective agreement guidelines
Contribute to a positive, efficient workplace culture
What You Bring
️ Minimum 2 years' experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
️ Experience working with unions and within a Collective Agreement
️ Background in accounting or financial administration (diploma or equivalent experience)
️ Proficiency with Sage 50 or similar accounting software
️ Experience with PointClickCare is a strong asset
️ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
️ A valid Driver’s License and Smart Serve certification
