You Are

We are looking for individuals to join our team at our client in one of the largest financial institutions in Canada. The successful candidate will be part of the Application Access Control team within Global Operations and Business Services.

The Opportunity

• Hybrid: In office/remote
• Engage directly with external clients via phone through the portal's help desk line and via email, troubleshooting access and permissions issues
• Approve daily access requests for the client portal
• Manage email mailbox, responding, organizing, and escalating requests that require investigation or troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot access permissions issues
• Work proactively with Technology Services
• Collaborate daily with the Front Office and internal stakeholders to understand client needs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Maintain client status updates in the database to track workflow
• Escalate and manage client issues proactively and promptly
• Support the activities of the Application Access Control team as capacity fluctuates

What You Need

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma
• At least 4 years of experience in buy-side firms or the Capital Markets industry
• Understanding of Financial Markets and trading products
• Familiarity with application administration
• Basic knowledge of access permissions and provisioning
• Strong time management skills and results-oriented mindset within tight deadlines
• High intellectual curiosity, passion, and self-motivation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working within a diverse, global, client-focused environment
• Ability to interpret data and analysis for application use
• Meticulous attention to detail and due diligence
• Understanding of risk processes and methodologies
• Excellent skills in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of programming tools like Alteryx, Python, UiPath is a plus
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and automation is an asset
• Fluent in both French and English

Compensation varies based on location, role, skills, education, and experience. The role is based in Ontario with a salary range of $70,000-$85,000.

Full-time employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation, 6 days of paid sick leave, paid holidays, and are eligible for additional benefits including healthcare, life insurance, and more. Part-time and temporary employees also receive paid sick leave and benefits as applicable.
