Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Location: Toronto

Department: Intelligence Gathering Interviews & Sales Development

Reports to: Head of Global Field, Capital Markets Network

In-person office attendance Monday-Friday.

Overview

The successful candidates are high energy, learning inspired Business Development Representatives (BDR's) along with a strong interest in the capital markets. This career path leads to roles such as Global Sector Intel Management, Senior Sales & Advisory Services, Executive Career Agent and potential share ownership in the firm. As the first point of contact in the sales /marketing cycle, you will play a vital role in new client introductions and building your own personal relationships with new and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential correspondents and clients through a mix of outbound prospecting channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, etc.).
  • Recruit additional members of our global intelligence network.
  • Schedule high-quality meetings with potential clients including Senior Partners.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas, including outreach activity, conversion rates, qualified opportunities, and meetings booked.
  • Represent the company brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft tailored outreach messages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with prospects.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to handle objections, rejection, in fast-paced environments.
  • Highly organized with strong time management.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and eager to learn with a strong sense of accountability.
