Key Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required; College Diploma in Business Administration and / or equivalent is preferred.
  • Customs certificate is a definite asset.
  • Minimum two (2) years in a telemarketing / call center outbound sales role environment, preferably within customs brokerage.
  • Must have previous experience in a brokerage environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.

Description of Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for researching, soliciting, and booking qualified brokerage sales leads for the outside Sales Account Executives.

  • Research leads from various lead sources.
  • Make outbound sales calls from various lead sources to potential prospects.
  • Qualify prospects to ensure they are a target account for Willson International.
  • Once qualified, book the appointment for the corresponding outside Sales Account Executive.
  • Once the appointment has been booked, place the lead in the corresponding outside Sales Account Executive calendar and send an email notification to the sales rep.
  • Keep track of all leads, daily number of calls, and contacts on the lead tracker.
  • All other duties assigned.
