Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Partner with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that maximize revenue.
• Execute business development strategies and sales plans.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
• Represent BELFOR at industry events and community functions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive retention and long-term partnerships.

Position Overview

The Business Development Representativeis responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and expandingBELFOR's presence across all business units. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at prospecting, networking, and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships. The successful candidate is results-driven, proactive, and skilled at developing strategic relationships that support sustained business growth.

What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of sales or business development experience
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Have:

• Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, or Business
• Experience working with insurance carriers, independent adjusters, brokers, property management firms, commercial real estate, restoration, or construction industries
