Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the North American market through thorough research, strategic prospecting, and effective networking.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, potential strategic partners, and industry influencers.
- Deal Negotiation and Closure: Lead complex deal negotiations, develop compelling proposals, and successfully close new business aligned with ambitious company growth targets.
- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement effective strategies to support revenue growth, market penetration, and the achievement of sales targets, aiming to secure significant new annual recurring revenue.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with internal product and marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment of business development efforts with overall company objectives and product roadmaps.
- Industry Representation: Professionally represent the client at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and expand the company's network.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or direct sales, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- A demonstrable and proven track record of successfully closing complex deals and consistently generating significant revenue.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex discussions and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is considered a valuable asset
