Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 / year

Description

The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for assisting the firm's leader of strategic real estate relationships in identifying, managing, and developing new business opportunities. You will report to the Executive Vice President.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the firm's business strategy to develop opportunities for implementing the company's technology ecosystem solution with smaller real estate owners.
  • Source opportunities through relationships, research, and networking.
  • Manage the sales process from identification to closing, including preparing documentation, client follow-up, and contracts.
  • Manage multiple relationships with property owners, asset managers, property managers, and center managers.
  • Own and control the sales process within a specific territory, engaging stakeholders and maintaining momentum toward closing deals.
  • Maintain a detailed sales pipeline for management tracking.
  • Prepare summaries for client meetings, including background and site overviews.
  • Document and circulate notes on meetings with prospective sites and clients.
  • Manage contract negotiations for new site acquisitions.
  • Understand site performance metrics.
  • Complete internal information requests from other departments.
  • Travel as required.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by the head of strategic real estate partnership.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Efficient task prioritization and multi-project management.
  • 3-5+ years of consultative B2B sales experience, preferably in parking or related real estate services.
  • Proven sales process follow-through to close deals.
  • Experience in dynamic, fast-growing B2B environments with disruptive solutions.
  • Expertise in managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, diagnosing business challenges and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience, creativity, boldness, and tenacity in sales pursuits.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions across diverse business contexts.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; PowerPoint skills a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Self-starter interested in entrepreneurial environments.
  • Initiative taker and team player.
  • Highest level of integrity, honesty, professionalism, and judgment.
