Job Title: Business Development Manager - Water & Waste Water Processing

Agilus is recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Water & Waste Water Processing in the Engineering Industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Role Overview: In this role, you are responsible for identifying key market opportunities, connecting with decision makers, and showcasing the benefits of water solutions to prospective clients.

Typical Day:
  1. Create and execute strategic business development plans targeting key clients and leads.
  2. Identify and set business development targets and KPIs.
  3. Pursue new business opportunities within the engineering and industrial sectors, focusing on process water purification and reuse.
  4. Travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, decision makers, industry associations, and stakeholders.
  6. Create and deliver presentations to showcase company products, create client buy-in, and demonstrate competitive advantages.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and developments relevant to our domain.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of industry experience, with a minimum of 10 years in Business Development.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of process engineering and water reuse technologies.
  • Knowledge of engineering and project services business models, including reimbursable and lump sum work.
  • Valid Driver’s License for occasional travel.
  • Experience with CRM systems and maintaining client databases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
