Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a skilled business banking professional to cultivate and manage a portfolio of small business clients in Whitby. The role focuses on developing new opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions.

You will leverage consultative sales practices, analyze client needs, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure credit and product alignment while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience with post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Strong financial analysis skills, ability to interpret financial statements and drive growth while mitigating risk.
• Knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and related policies/procedures.
• Experience in customer sales and service.
• Proficiency with data tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Proactively develops and executes sales strategies to attract new business clients and expand existing relationships.
• Develops networks and referrals to grow BMO's business.
