Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Residential mortgage experience (preferably credit, treasury, or servicing).
  • Prior experience in a BA role within the mortgage industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

The role of Business Analyst, Operations reports to the Vice President, Operations and is responsible for the management and delivery of projects along with improving processing efficiencies within multiple business units.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is a cross-functional role that will be responsible for working with all aspects of the business at Strive
  • Work with various parts of the organization on special projects, while being responsible for the management and delivery of the said projects
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies within the organization
  • Identify and deliver on a portfolio of projects to improve operational processes, customer and stakeholder experiences. Including but not limited to the development of implementation plans, ownership of execution and results achievement
  • Advocate for transformation and continuous improvement, provide expert-level guidance and direction to other key stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder (both internal and external) teams to analyze, design and implement multiple process improvements
  • Act as a resource and/or Subject Matter Expert in identifying and prioritizing process improvement projects and in developing business cases (including cost benefit analyses)
  • Provide project status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on selected projects
  • Conduct training on process improvement at all levels of the organization
  • Identify, own and implement initiatives that improve operational processes all the way through sustained benefits realization to increase quality and value
  • Automate processes to improve processing capacity of existing staff
  • Gather, Analyze and Present Data to Leadership in a clear, concise manner as required
  • Work with and manage relationships with third party vendors
  • Lead meetings with external vendors and internal stakes holders such as Sales, Credit, QA, Finance, Treasury and IT
  • Write tickets, and business requirements to third party vendors
  • Configure and test systems/software as required by management
  • Others projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired, preferably in business
  • 3+ years of Residential mortgage experience (preferably credit, treasury, or servicing)
  • Prior experience as a BA role within the mortgage industry is considered an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage products and terms
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while also managing responsibilities independently and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills along with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to gather, analyze, interpret and present data
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Competency in Microsoft Office; capacity to learn new technologies/system

Employment Type

Full time with regular working hours (remote and in-person hybrid working environment).
