Job description

Vretta is looking for a Business Analyst passionate about bridging the data and product functions seamlessly. The Business Analyst position requires the candidate to have excellent organizational skills, a flair for product technology and management, and top‑notch problem solving ability. They should have the attitude and energy to ensure that our partners and staff function productively, strategically, and feel accomplished.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ operational and strategic goals, leveraging data insights to anticipate their needs and advise on best practices aligned with our technology solutions.
  • Analyze and evaluate business processes using data-driven methods to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and measurable impact.
  • Acquire in-depth understanding of project requirements and use quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform project planning and prioritization.
  • Gather and structure client and stakeholder requests through collaborative sessions; translate these inputs into actionable, data-supported insights for product teams to inform sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track project metrics, performance indicators, and outcomes, providing clients with clear, data-driven progress reports and dashboards.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with partners; support managers and executives with research, data analysis, and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with teams and clients to ensure requirements, deliverables, and milestones are measurable, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data to support business decisions.
  • Excellent planning, documentation, and organizational skills; proficiency with project management and data tools (e.g., GitLab, Notion, Trello, Google Suite, MS Suite, Excel/Sheets, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
  • Proven experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into measurable business and data objectives.
  • Experience in collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to produce detailed reports and actionable insights.
  • Strong client focus with the ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a passion for using data to drive continuous improvement.
