Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or setup
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Installing machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations
