Job summary

BBA Consultants seeks a Building Maintenance Worker in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, QC. This regular position focuses on maintaining facilities, inspecting systems, and ensuring safety standards are met.

You’ll work hands-on with a team to keep the building in top condition and support daily operations. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, coordinating with subcontractors, and performing routine upkeep to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in building maintenance.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Available to travel to the Greater Montréal area.
• Advanced English and French language skills to collaborate with offices/clients.

Responsibilities

• Inspect premises and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Adjust and maintain heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Carry out minor repairs and oversee subcontractors as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, plumbing and woodwork; meet schedules.
• Ensure corporate vehicles are maintained.

Summary of certifications and job requirements

• Relevant experience in building maintenance
• Valid driver’s licence
• Minimal knowledge of MS Office Suite applications
• Available to travel to and from our offices in the Greater Montréal area
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
• Asset: experience in maintenance work or building mechanics
