Job summary

Atira Women’s Resource Society in Coquitlam, BC seeks a dedicated Concierge for The Alex, a full-time role supporting tenants and visitors, ensuring safety and respectful interactions within a unionized setting.

Reporting to the Building Manager, you will monitor access, share helpful community information, and uphold confidentiality while fostering a trauma-informed, inclusive housing environment for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or equivalent required.
• 1 year recent concierge or security experience preferred.
• First Aid certificate is required.
• WHMIS certificate is an asset; Security certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and security of The Alex building and tenants.
• Provide non-judgmental, respectful interactions with residents and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policy and procedures.
• Support a trauma-informed, gender-responsive service environment.
