Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking seasonal help for our Mountain Operations Brush/Trail Crew this summer. This hands-on outdoor role involves maintaining ski runs across the mountain and collaborating with a tight-knit team in alpine conditions.

• Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Comfortable working in varied terrain and weather conditions.
• Experience with brush saws, chainsaws, or hand tools is an asset (training provided).
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.

Job description

Join our Mountain Operations team this summer as part of our Brush/Trail Crew. This is a hands-on outdoor position where you’ll help maintain and improve ski runs across the mountain. If you enjoy physical work in a team environment and love spending your days outside in the alpine, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Brush cutting and clearing vegetation on ski runs and trails
• Assisting with trail building, maintenance, and erosion control
• Safe use and maintenance of power tools and hand tools
• Carrying out general mountain clean-up and slope work
• Working safely in varied mountain weather conditions and terrain
• Supporting other Mountain Operations projects as needed
