Job summary

Associated Engineering in Calgary seeks an experienced Bridge Construction Inspector to join our team. You will perform construction inspection and administration for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge construction projects, with travel across Alberta as needed.

The role requires a Civil Engineering Diploma, 10+ years of experience, and strong communication, planning, and organizational skills. Consulting experience is an asset in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering Diploma from an accredited technical institute.
• 10+ years of experience in bridge construction/inspection.
• Strong communication skills.
• Superior planning and organizational skills.
• Committed team player and highly self-motivated.
• Consulting experience is an asset.
• Experience on Alberta Transportation and City of Calgary projects is an asset.
• This position will require travel throughout Alberta.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction inspection and construction administration for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge construction.
• Collaborate with project teams on inspection and QA/QC activities.
• Support project delivery and client communication across Alberta.
• Travel throughout Alberta to sites as required.
