Job summary

Alliance Employment Services in Woodbridge, Ontario, is seeking an experienced press brake operator to set up, adjust, and run machinery to form metal parts per blueprints.

You will select tooling, perform test runs, inspect quality, maintain equipment, and follow safety procedures to meet productivity targets on the morning shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on press brake setup and operation experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply bending sequences and tolerances.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Experience selecting and installing tooling and fixtures.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills for press equipment.
• Familiarity with shop safety practices; forklift experience is a plus.
• Comfort working in a production environment and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating press brakes to form metal parts to specification. Work includes reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting and installing tooling and fixtures, performing test runs and quality inspections, maintaining equipment, and following safety and production procedures to meet targets.

Must have skills and experience:

• 2 or more years of hands on press brake setup and operation experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply bending sequences and tolerances
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Experience selecting and installing tooling and fixtures and making fine adjustments
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills for press equipment
• Familiarity with shop safety practices and PPE; experience with forklift is an asset
• Comfort working in a production environment and meeting productivity and quality targets

From $ 22.00 to 24.00 per hour
